Marie Traeger

Marie was born and raised on a farm in Olney, Oregon, the youngest of three boys, Marie spent most of her time with her animals on the farm. After graduating from Astoria High School, Marie went on to receive All-American Honors as a Third Baseman at Linfield College. Her degree in Education and Athletic Training landed her in Silverton and working for the Silver Falls School District. Fast Forward 35 years and Marie is a proud parent of Megan and Zachary and finishing her second career as a Correctional Counselor at the Oregon State Penitentiary. Marie’s greatest joy is when the average everyday cross fitter accomplishes a skill they never thought they could do, she once coached a 60-year-old woman who did her first push-up EVER in one of her classes. That’s what it’s all about.
